Why spinal tap....?
Amazing. What is the ET??
What about blowby, wouldn't be blowby out there? And wouldn't blowby aerated oil?
Amazing that at the enthusiast level, we used to talk about losses between the Flywheel and the Tyre. Now we can talk about the loss between the Piston Crown and the Flywheel !! F1 tech for Drag and Drive! So cool!
Studying for the army’s asvab auto&shop portion of the test. This helps me put what I read into pictures. ❤
wouldn't this be easier with a modified spark plug or glow plug design. or a modified valve?
How are you getting this kind of rpm without float? Is it just shit tons of spring pressure?
Got a new subscriber as soon as you mentioned the title. I need this, quick and to the point, How not to be an idiot.
Is this only for EFI
thank you
Did they ever put it in a car??
That smile says it all!
Don’t yell at me sir
Now make my Ford 4.0L V6 do that haha
Where is the solenoid that activates the phaser?
my girlfriend thinks I stay up late up to no good… little does she know I’m nerding out over an oil pump system and pretending I’m building a c7 zo6 like I own one (I wish)😂
What valve train can handle this?
Wow, things are starting to go south on the intake side. It's bouncing off the seat and losing contact to the rocker at max lift. Time to change gear😂
Keep your eye on the left valve. Especially on the stem. Just below the rocker arm you can see the valve is bouncing in the valve seat! Absolutely amazing!
Say Alex that was awesome what you did.😊I have a Dodge plamth 4 door car it needs to be fixed.
The reason I’ve always heard people saying they’re going to a dry sump system was especially if they’re going to be circle track or road racing a car that you didn’t want all of the oil getting thrown to one side of the pan and starving the engine. I know that there are certain kinds of pans that have baffles or you can get a different pick up tube to put on the other side if you’re just going to be running in a circle, but from my understanding, the dry sump is the king when it comes to protecting yourself from oil starvation.
You should do it a lot more - your videos are really good and this type of content on yt and on that level is very rare to find !
If I put 50 pounds of boost to my engine it will blow up🤣🤣🤣
BMW M20?
Can you simulate a forced induction situation?
The fuel plump.
So with static negative P-V, if one of your dual or triple springs break, you get P-V contact? Talk about an interference engine! Wow!
Why is such a big engine only making 430hp?
"Make sure you rev it up to 11,000 Rpm"
Thanks for explaining and showing the difference and why.
How does the fact that the scavenger pump is driven by a pulley prevents oil over pressure if the main pump is still powerd directly by the shaft?
Because when tuning you have an ideal rpm for maximum power you swap pullys to change the oil pressure at desired rpm
What's the displacement?
Nuff said! 😉
Pushrods and rockers made of aerogel
For what a dry sump cost it's not worth it for 14hp. Run a deeper higher capacity pan and run it a few quarts low. That with a crankcase evacuation system will do the same thing for a lot less money.
Is the vacuum connection also necessary for carburetor applications?
will cars with dry sump systems have faster throttle respond too?
How come this guy is American but not annoying?
3.52 inch stroke at 11,500 rpm so 34.27m/s piston speed. Insane conrods
Junk
This is evidence that a desmodromic valve train is way better than a valve spring system. Desmodromic has zero valve float at 10,200 RPM.
We love our retro engines but modern iron has real advantages.
Great explanation and testing, well done.
Do the Vvt sprocket fail stick.
Imagine this with a Formula Transmission, fast shifting?!?! That will be COOL!!!
Nice video, question, so I have just got a car, and the vacuum hose from the manifold isn't connected to the fuel regulator, and the that small connection on the fuel regulator leaks small amounts of fuel, it also sits at 50psi all the time. The car runs rich and can't hold a steady idle until it's warm. I assume the regulator is busted as fuel shouldn't come from that side connection and will need replacing, at which point I can connect the manifold vacuum tube and that should remedy in some way the rich running? Am I on the right track? This is my first car that I'm tinkering with so it's a steep learning curve!
Is this still available? I want to be a part of this.
Try it for more than a few seconds it goes boom. Push rod design is best under 10000 9000 to 9500 max or it blows fast, by design
Why f1 didn't use crossplane and flat instead someone tell me why cross sounds better especially with 8 to 1 headers 😭
Shiit I saw 11,265!!! Gahh DAYUMM!!!
